YOUTH IMPACT PRAYER UPDATE FROM KISUMU/NYAHURURU- March, 2023.

Introduction.

This past month has been a great example of biblical faith. We had some difficult challenges: limited time to go to school's because of riots/demonstrations that has led to deaths and destruction of properties as indicated in the pictures below. At some point I was even forced to hide my car somewhere because if a vehicle was seen by the people it was destroyed, so, I had to do this to protect this great gift that God gave for His work then walked for about 3.5 miles to get to the school of service and crazy economic times to name a few.

But God continues to bless our ministry. As displayed in this month’s prayer update. Even in the midst of trials, our ministry has remained strong and healthy, and we believe we are better because of these trials. This month we managed to add one new school taking the total number of schools from 56 to 57 with a total population of about 57038 from 57538 students. 431 students gave their lives to Christ Jesus and 234 rededicated their lives back to God. We also gave out 45 Bibles and over 235 discipleship materials.

Prayer.

The testimony of King David was that the living God was his source of strength and courage. In Psalm 18 verse 1 we read "I love you, God you make me strong. God is a bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight". And when Paul writes to the Corinthian church, he declares that "...when I am weak, then I am strong". All of us and every ministry organization or church have things that we struggle with and things that at times seem to overwhelm us and when confronted with such issues, the best tool to fight them that God has given us is prayer and that's why as a ministry we continue without ceasing to teach and practice prayer daily in our lives and in the lives of the students we minister to every single week.

Discipleship.

Discipleship is an important part of a believer’s journey, for both the new believer and the believer leading the process. And our greatest desire is to help students in their growth in Christ (by reading the Bible and praying) and share Christ with others.

When we spend time with Jesus and share our faith, we are doing what Jesus’ disciples did and what He has called us to do.

We managed to enrol 218 new students into our discipleship program in various schools taking the number of students being discipled from 3556 to 3774.

Conclusion.

We pray that God will continue to use you in ministering to the needs of this ministry through your prayers and generous support that has made our activities in schools possible. Let’s celebrate what God has done at Youth Impact, and let that give us courage to take a giant leap of faith this new month of April. Kindly share with us how you would want us to also pray with you. Thanks and God bless you.
