Vinoji & Joyce Samuel - Malawi

Dear Mission Friends,

Greetings from Malawi again!

We've been here in Malawi for the past 6 months!  The Lord has abundantly blessed the work in spite of all the seen and unseen challenges we faced. We thank God for the protection He gave us during our stay especially health (1000 people died of Malaria in last 10 months plus 300 due to cyclone Freddy). The Lord saved many kids during several meetings and many others during open air and at Christmas meeting on December 25th.  Several visitors were here staying with Santhosh, Abraham & Jincy, Joe, Philip & Nisha Kurian, Mathew & Grace, Ashley Kurian, Varghese Paul & family , Jijo Thomas & Liji and Uncle Johnson. The Lord used them in many ways to spread the Gospel and teach the Bible. We could cover these subjects "Why Christian Ministry is glorious? Evangelism, Lordship, Book of Nehemiah & Discipleship".

On the physical side, we could do lot of renovation and maintenance in the mission compound and other local churches. As the mission is growing these things are very important which only few understand. It is so humbling to see believers growing in the Lord and workers are strengthened with the Word. It is praiseworthy to mention about our short visit to Australia and New Zealand for meetings and visiting our mission friends. We had a blessed time there. We appreciate your continued prayers as we wrap up  our visit now for a short gap, (but local brothers will carry on  the work greatly). Lord willing we will come back after Joel’s wedding (wedding on August 11th) by the end of August to stay here permanent. Request your special prayers for the  wedding and their families.

We especially thank God for new missionaries coming.  Please uphold Varghese Paul, Reeby, Ruth & Ben in your prayers. They are going to be here from early August permanently. Please pray for our permit too. We are so grateful for all of you for standing behind us in prayers!
