YOUTH IMPACT PRAYER UPDATE FROM KISUMU/NYAHURURU FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY, 2024.

YOUTH IMPACT PRAYER UPDATE FROM KISUMU/NYAHURURU FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY, 2024.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:1-2

Dear Ministry Partner,

Introduction.

We praise God for his faithfulness to us this month of February, there is no doubt that God was on the move in our organisation and in the schools we got into. We give thanks to God for how he has allowed us to be his vessels of hope as we shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ amongst the teenagers. It is a great joy seeing how Christ Jesus is impacting the lives of the teenagers and how blessed it is for them to be apart of this journey. This month we managed to reach to 85 (6 new schools) schools with a total population of about 81004 from 75,292 students. 436 students gave their lives to Christ Jesus and 289 rededicated their lives back to God. We also gave out 56 Bibles and over 312 Discipleship materials.

Discipleship.

Christ commanded His followers to go and make Disciples ( Mathew 28:18-20). The process of making disciples starts with Evangelism and continues with a lifetime of growth commonly referred to as discipleship. Our goal as a Ministry is to help our students grow in faith and fruitfulness. This month we discipled a total of 4731 from 4525 students to the glory of God.

Prayer.

Why are so many organizations or Church’ so powerless? Why do people become converted but fail to grow to spiritual maturity? One of the single most important reasons for these conditions is the lack of prayer. The work of prayer is not done. People do not pray enough. The number of prayer warriors is too small compared to the amount of prayer work. Jas.4:2 says: "You do not have because you do not ask God." Prayer brings the blessing of God. A revival of prayer will bring about a revival of the blessing of the Lord. More purposeful, intelligent and persistent prayer will bear more spiritual fruit. It is when the church/Organisation fails to perform the work of prayer persistently and effectively that is when it becomes powerless and ineffective. God has intended that through prayer whatever we do should obtain the power that it needs to do its work. We continue to meet for Prayers as a team every Wednesday from 10am through 11am.

Future Plans.

Ø  We’re trusting God to get into atleast 8 more schools next month .

Ø  Looking forward to training and engaging the volunteers to help with the work as we continue to expand.

Ø  Were also trusting God for the expansion of Discipleship program.

Prayer Points.

Ø  Thank God for a successful month of Ministry in schools.

Ø  Thank God for the students who gave their lives to Christ over the month.

Ø  Thank God for the good health He gave us during our time in schools.

Ø  Thank God with us for the provision of Discipleship materials and Bibles.

Conclusion.

We faithfully moved forward thanks to your prayers and support but above all, because we knew and know that God is with us no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in. We’ll continue to put our shoulders to the wheel together with the whole team as we remain true to our mission and are inspired by our faith in Jesus Christ.
